The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever meets Allah without associating anything with Him, and without having stained himself with forbidden blood, will enter Paradise."
[Sahih] Ahmad (4/152) narrated it from Waki with this wording, and it contains, "he was not stained with unlawful blood," the meaning being the same. Hakim graded it sahih (4/351, 352), as did Dhahabi. Ismail used ambiguous transmission wording, see no. 1612. The first part of the hadith has a supporting narration in Bukhari, no. 129, and elsewhere. The part about bloodshed has supporting narrations in Bukhari, nos. 6863 and 6864, and in Haythami (Majma, 1/19, 21), and elsewhere.
