The Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever raises a weapon against us is not one of us."
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان وأبو كريب ويوسف بن موسى وعبد الله بن البراد قالوا حدثنا أبو أسامة عن بريد عن أبي بردة
قال رسول الله من شهر علينا السلاح فليس منا
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on Trials, in the section "The saying of the Prophet ﷺ, 'Whoever takes up arms against us is not one of us,'" hadith no. 7071, from the hadith of Abu Usama with this wording. Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Faith, in the aforementioned chapter, hadith no. 99, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Barrad with this wording.
