The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek refuge with Allah from the pit of sorrow."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, what is the pit of sorrow?"He replied, "It is a valley in Hell from which Hell itself seeks refuge four hundred times every day."Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, who enters it?"He said, "It has been prepared for reciters who make a show of their deeds. Among the reciters most hated by Allah are those who pay visits to the rulers." Muharibi said, "the unjust rulers."Abu Hasan said, Hazim bin Yahya told us, Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba and Muhammad bin Numayr told us, both saying, Ibn Numayr told us, from Muawiya Nasri, who was trustworthy, and he then related the hadith in similar terms with its chain of transmission.Ibrahim bin Nasr told us, Abu Ghassan Malik bin Ismail told us, Ammar bin Sayf told us, from Abu Muaz. Malik bin Ismail said, Ammar said, "I do not know whether it was Muhammad or Anas bin Sirin."

قال رسول الله ﷺ تعوذوا بالله من جب الحزن قالوا يا رسول الله وما جب الحزن قال واد في جهنم تعوذ منه جهنم كل يوم أربع مائة مرة قيل يا رسول الله من يدخله قال أعد للقراء المرائين بأعمالهم وإن من أبغض القراء إلى الله الذين يزورون الأمراء قال المحاربي الجورة قال أبو الحسن حدثنا حازم بن يحيى حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة ومحمد بن نمير قالا حدثنا ابن نمير عن معاوية النصري وكان ثقة ثم ذكر الحديث نحوه بإسناده حدثنا إبراهيم بن نصر حدثنا أبو غسان مالك بن إسماعيل حدثنا عمار بن سيف عن أبي معاذ قال مالك بن إسماعيل قال عمار لا أدري محمد أو أنس بن سيرين
