Land was leased during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman for a third or a quarter of the produce, and this practice has continued up to your present day.

Its chain is daif. Busiri said, "This chain is sahih and its narrators are trustworthy." I say, Tawus did not hear anything from Muaz, as Ibn Madini and others have said. See Jami Tahsil by Alai, p. 201, and others.
