The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for one of you to lend his land to his brother free of charge than to charge him such-and-such," referring to a specified amount.Ibn Abbas said, "This is al-haql, which in the language of the Ansar is called muhaqalah."
حدثنا العباس بن عبد العظيم العنبري حدثنا عبد الرزاق أنبأنا معمر عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لأن يمنح أحدكم أخاه أرضه خير له من أن يأخذ عليها كذا وكذا لشيء معلوم فقال ابن عباس هو الحقل وهو بلسان الأنصار المحاقلة
