The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to me one day looking delighted, and he said, "Ayesha, did you not see that Mujazziz al-Mudliji came in to me and saw Usama and Zayd with a velvet cloak covering their heads while their feet were exposed, and he said, 'These feet belong to one another.'"
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وهشام بن عمار ومحمد بن الصباح قالوا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن عروة
دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ ذات يوم مسرورا وهو يقول يا عائشة ألم تري أن مجززا المدلجي دخل علي فرأى أسامة وزيدا عليهما قطيفة قد غطيا رءوسهما وقد بدت أقدامهما فقال إن هذه الأقدام بعضها من بعض
Bukhari narrated it in "Inheritance," chapter "The Physiognomist," no. 6771, from the hadith of Sufyan, through this route, and Muslim narrated it in "Suckling," chapter "Acting upon the physiognomist's attribution of the child," no. 1459, from Ibn Abu Shayba, through this route.
