The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that the fruit of palm trees belongs to the one who pollinated them, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise, and that the property of a slave belongs to the one who sold him, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise.
حدثنا عبد ربه بن خالد النميري أبو المغلس حدثنا الفضيل بن سليمان عن موسى بن عقبة حدثني إسحق بن يحيى ابن الوليد
قضى رسول الله ﷺ بثمر النخل لمن أبرها إلا أن يشترط المبتاع وأن مال المملوك لمن باعه إلا أن يشترط المبتاع
Sourcing, [its chain of transmission is daif] Abdullah bin Ahmad narrated it in the additions to the Musnad (5/326, 327) from the hadith of Fudayl, at length. Ishaq related it with an interrupted chain from Ubadah, and he is of unknown status (Taqrib).
