The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever grants a Muslim the cancellation of a sale, Allah will pardon his slip on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا زياد بن يحيى أبو الخطاب حدثنا مالك بن سعير حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أقال مسلما أقاله الله عثرته يوم القيامة
Its chain is daif. Abu Dawud narrated it in "Buyu," chapter on the merit of granting a cancellation, hadith no. 3460, from the hadith of Amash by this route. Ibn Hibban, Hakim, Dhahabi, Ibn Hazm, and Ibn Daqiq Eid graded it sahih. Its defect is the use of "an" by Amash, as mentioned previously at hadith no. 178, and it has daif corroborating narrations.
