The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be moderate in seeking worldly gain, for everyone is made easy toward that for which he was created."
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا إسمعيل بن عياش عن عمارة بن غزية عن ربيعة بن أبي عبد الرحمن عن عبد الملك بن سعيد الأنصاري
قال رسول الله ﷺ أجملوا في طلب الدنيا فإن كلا ميسر لما خلق له
[Sahih] Ibn Abu Asim narrated it in al-Sunnah, no. 418, from Hisham bin Ammar with this chain. Bayhaqi and others also narrated it through the hadith of Sulayman bin Bilal from Rabia with this chain. Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (2/), and Dhahabi agreed with him, though it actually meets the criteria of Muslim alone. And Allah knows best.
