The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." He then took me by the hand and seated me in this very spot of mine to teach the Quran.
حدثنا أزهر بن مروان حدثنا الحارث بن نبهان حدثنا عاصم بن بهدلة
قال رسول الله ﷺ خياركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه قال وأخذ بيدي فأقعدني مقعدي هذا أقرئ
[Its chain of transmission is very daif] but the hadith is sahih. Darimi narrated it: 2/437, Virtues of the Quran chapter 2, no. 3339, from the hadith of Harith, with this wording. Busiri said, "This chain is daif due to the weakness of Harith bin Nabhan, who is discarded (matruk), as stated in Taqrib." No. 211 and others make his hadith unnecessary.
