The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Vows bring nothing to the son of Adam except what has already been decreed for him. Rather, destiny overtakes him with what has been decreed, and through the vow something is drawn out of the miser, so he gives away what he would not have given before. Allah has said, 'Spend, and I will spend on you.'"
حدثنا أحمد بن يوسف حدثنا عبيد الله عن سفيان عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن النذر لا يأتي ابن آدم بشيء إلا ما قدر له ولكن يغلبه القدر ما قدر له فيستخرج به من البخيل فييسر عليه ما لم يكن ييسر عليه من قبل ذلك وقد قال الله أنفق أنفق عليك
