On the day Makkah was conquered, a man brought his father and said, "Messenger of Allah, grant my father a share in the emigration."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "There is no emigration now."So the man went off and came to Abbas and said, "You know who I am."Abbas said, "Indeed I do."Abbas then went out wearing only a shirt, with no cloak over it, and said, "Messenger of Allah, you know so-and-so and the bond between us and him. He has brought his father so that you might take his pledge for emigration."The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no emigration."Abbas said, "I adjure you by oath."So the Prophet ﷺ stretched out his hand and touched the man's hand and said, "I have honored my uncle's oath, but there is no emigration."Muhammad bin Yahya narrated to us, Hasan bin Rabi narrated to us, from Abdullah bin Idris, from Yazid bin Abu Ziyad, with his chain of transmission, a similar report. Yazid bin Abu Ziyad said this means there is no emigration from a land whose people have accepted Islam.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن مجاهد
لما كان يوم فتح مكة جاء بأبيه فقال يا رسول الله اجعل لأبي نصيبا في الهجرة فقال إنه لا هجرة فانطلق فدخل على العباس فقال قد عرفتني قال أجل فخرج العباس في قميص ليس عليه رداء فقال يا رسول الله قد عرفت فلانا والذي بيننا وبينه وجاء بأبيه لتبايعه على الهجرة فقال النبي ﷺ إنه لا هجرة فقال العباس أقسمت عليك فمد النبي ﷺ يده فمس يده فقال أبررت عمي ولا هجرة حدثنا محمد بن يحيى حدثنا الحسن بن الربيع عن عبد الله بن إدريس عن يزيد بن أبي زياد بإسناده نحوه قال يزيد بن أبي زياد يعني لا هجرة من دار قد أسلم أهلها

Its chain of transmission is daif. Ahmad reported it, 3/430, 431, from the hadith of Yazid with a slight variation, and Busiri said, "This chain contains Yazid bin Abu Ziyad, whom Muslim cited only in corroborating narrations, and the majority of scholars judged him daif." See also, no. 1471, 504.
