The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever introduces a good practice that is followed after him will receive its reward along with rewards equal to those of everyone who acts upon it, without their rewards being diminished in the least. And whoever introduces an evil practice that is followed after him will bear its burden along with burdens equal to those of everyone who acts upon it, without their burdens being diminished in the least."
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى حدثنا أبو نعيم حدثنا إسرائيل عن الحكم
قال رسول الله ﷺ من سن سنة حسنة فعمل بها بعده كان له أجره ومثل أجورهم من غير أن ينقص من أجورهم شيئا ومن سن سنة سيئة فعمل بها بعده كان عليه وزره ومثل أوزارهم من غير أن ينقص من أوزارهم شيئا
