A man pronounced the zihar oath against his wife, then had relations with her before making the required expiation. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned what had happened.The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "What drove you to do that?"He replied, "Messenger of Allah, I saw the whiteness of her ankles in the moonlight, and I could not restrain myself from going to her."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed and ordered him not to go near her until he had made the expiation.
حدثنا العباس بن يزيد حدثنا غندر حدثنا معمر عن الحكم بن أبان عن عكرمة
أن رجلا ظاهر من امرأته فغشيها قبل أن يكفر فأتى النبي ﷺ فذكر ذلك له فقال ما حملك على ذلك قال يا رسول الله رأيت بياض حجليها في القمر فلم أملك نفسي أن وقعت عليها فضحك رسول الله ﷺ وأمره ألا يقربها حتى يكفر
