The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any woman who asks her husband for a divorce without good reason, the fragrance of Paradise is forbidden to her."

قال رسول الله ﷺ أيما امرأة سألت زوجها الطلاق في غير ما بأس فحرام عليها رائحة الجنة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud reported it in the Book of Divorce, chapter on khula, no. 2226, from the hadith of Hammad bin Zayd through this route. Tirmidhi graded it hasan, no. 1187, and Ibn Hibban, Hakim, and Dhahabi graded it sahih.
