The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has pardoned my community for mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are forced to do."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن محمد بن يوسف الفريابي حدثنا أيوب بن سويد حدثنا أبو بكر الهذلي عن شهر بن حوشب
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله تجاوز عن أمتي الخطأ والنسيان وما استكرهوا عليه
[Sahih] See hadith no: 921 for its defect, but the hadith is sahih by way of its corroborating evidence. Busiri said, "This chain is daif, since they agree on the weakness of Abu Bakr Hudhali," and the following hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
