The Prophet ﷺ said, "If a woman claims that her husband has divorced her and brings forward a single upright witness to support her claim, the husband is required to take an oath. If he swears, the witness's testimony is nullified. If he refuses to swear, his refusal stands in the place of a second witness, and the divorce takes effect."

Graded, its chain of transmission is daif.Daraqutni reported it, 4/64, 166, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Yahya through this route. Abu Hatim Razi said, it is a munkar hadith, Ilal Hadith, 1/432.
