A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My daughter is a bride, and she has been struck by measles which has caused her hair to fall out. May I attach extensions to her hair?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Allah has cursed the woman who attaches hair extensions and the woman who has them attached."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن هشام بن عروة عن فاطمة
جاءت امرأة إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت إن ابنتي عريس وقد أصابتها الحصبة فتمرق شعرها فأصل لها فيه فقال رسول الله ﷺ لعن الله الواصلة والمستوصلة
Bukhari narrated it, in the Chapter on Clothing, Section on attaching false hair, hadith no. 5941, 5936, from the hadith of Hisham through this route, and Muslim, in the Chapter on Clothing and Adornment, the aforementioned section, hadith no. 2122, from Ibn Abu Shayba and others.
