The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted us to engage in temporary marriage three times, then he forbade it. By Allah, I will not know of any married man who engages in temporary marriage without stoning him to death, unless he brings me four witnesses who testify that the Messenger of Allah made it lawful after having forbidden it.

إن رسول الله ﷺ أذن لنا في المتعة ثلاثا ثم حرمها والله لا أعلم أحدا يتمتع وهو محصن إلا رجمته بالحجارة إلا أن يأتيني بأربعة يشهدون أن رسول الله أحلها بعد إذ حرمها
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Bazzar (Bahr Zakhkhar) reported it, no. 183, from the hadith of Firyabi through this route.Abu Bakr bin Hafs bin Umar bin Saad bin Abu Waqqas, his name is Abdullah, and he is trustworthy by consensus, one of the narrators found in the six major hadith collections.
