The wives of the Prophet ﷺ all disagreed with Ayesha and refused to allow anyone to enter upon them on the basis of a nursing arrangement like that of Salim, the freed slave of Abu Huzaifa. They said, "How do we know? Perhaps that was a special concession granted to Salim alone."

أن أزواج النبي ﷺ كلهن خالفن عائشة وأبين أن يدخل عليهن أحد بمثل رضاعة سالم مولى أبي حذيفة وقلن وما يدرينا لعل ذلك كانت رخصة لسالم وحده
