Abdul-Rahman bin Qasim reported from his father, from Ayesha, who said, "The verse of stoning and the verse of ten breastfeedings making a grown person a foster relative were revealed, and they were written on a sheet kept under my bed. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died and we were preoccupied with his death, a domestic animal came in and ate it."

[Its chain is hasan]. Ahmad narrated it (6/269) from the hadith of Ibn Ishaq, who said, "Abdullah bin Abu Bakr narrated to me," through the route of Amra bint Abdul-Rahman alone, and the wording given here follows this route. Malik narrated it (2/608) in the Muwatta, and through his route Muslim narrated it, as did Bukhari (no. 1452), from Abdullah bin Abu Bakr, through the same chain, but without mentioning the story of the domestic animal. These two verses had had their recitation abrogated, so the domestic animal ate them so that they would not be written into the Quran. The Quran is complete and perfected just as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left it, with not a single letter added to it or anything taken away from it. Praise be to Allah.
