He married a woman from the tribe of Banu Jusham, and the people said to him, "May you live in harmony and have many sons."He replied, "Do not say that. Rather, say as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O Allah, bless them and bestow Your blessings upon them.'"

أنه تزوج امرأة من بني جشم فقالوا بالرفاء والبنين فقال لا تقولوا هكذا ولكن قولوا كما قال رسول الله ﷺ اللهم بارك لهم وبارك عليهم
[Hasan] Tabarani reported it (Kabir: 17 (194), h: 516) via the route of Ashath bin Abdul-Malik from him, and he has other routes from Hasan, found in Ahmad (3/451) and elsewhere. Hasan used an ambiguous form of transmission (an'ana), as noted earlier, h: 71. His hadith has supporting evidence, including the hadith of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel found in Ahmad.
