The Prophet ﷺ came in to her and overheard an effeminate man saying to Abdullah bin Abu Umaya, "If Allah grants the conquest of Taif tomorrow, I will direct you to a woman who comes forward with four folds and goes back with eight."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Expel such men from your houses."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا وكيع عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن زينب بنت أم سلمة
أن النبي ﷺ دخل عليها فسمع مخنثا وهو يقول لعبد الله بن أبي أمية إن يفتح الله الطائف غدا دللتك على امرأة تقبل بأربع وتدبر بثمان فقال رسول الله ﷺ أخرجوه من بيوتكم
Bukhari narrated it in Kitab al-Maghazi, Chapter on the Battle of Taif in Shawwal of the year eight, no. 4324, 5235, and others, from the hadith of Hisham with this wording, and Muslim, in Kitab al-Salam, Chapter on preventing the effeminate man from entering upon women who are not his relatives, no. 2180, from Ibn Abu Shayba and others, and see also no. 2614.
