Ayesha gave one of her female relatives in marriage to a man from the Ansar. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and asked, "Have you sent the girl off to her husband?"They answered, "Yes."He asked, "Did you send someone with her to sing?"Ayesha replied, "No."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Ansar are a people who appreciate poetry and song. You should have sent someone with her to say, 'We have come to you, we have come to you, so greet us as we greet you.'"

[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it in 3/391 from the hadith of Ajlaj, through this route, and it has a daif corroborating narration in Tabarani's Awsat. The basis of the hadith is found in Sahih Bukhari, no. 5162, and elsewhere. It has other corroborating narrations in Ibn Hibban's Mawarid, no. 2016, and elsewhere.
