Jabir reported, "I got married during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he asked, 'Have you gotten married, Jabir?'I replied, 'Yes.'He asked, 'A virgin or a previously married woman?'I said, 'A previously married woman.'He said, 'Why not a virgin, so you could play with her and she with you?'I explained, 'I have sisters, and I feared she might come between me and them.'He said, 'In that case, fine.'"

تزوجت امرأة على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فلقيت رسول الله ﷺ فقال أتزوجت يا جابر قلت نعم قال أبكرا أو ثيبا قلت ثيبا قال فهلا بكرا تلاعبها قلت كن لي أخوات فخشيت أن تدخل بيني وبينهن قال فذاك إذن
