Zaynab Thaqafiya reported,

I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Does it count as charity from me if I spend on my husband and on the orphans under my care?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "She has two rewards, the reward of charity and the reward of upholding kinship ties."Hasan bin Muhammad bin al-Sabbah narrated to us, Abu Muawiya narrated to us, Amash narrated to us, from Shaqiq, from Amr bin Harith, the nephew of Zaynab, from Zaynab the wife of Abdullah, from the Prophet ﷺ, a similar report.

عن زينب امرأة عبد الله قالت

سألت رسول الله ﷺ أيجزئ عني من الصدقة النفقة على زوجي وأيتام في حجري قال رسول الله ﷺ لها أجران أجر الصدقة وأجر القرابة حدثنا الحسن بن محمد بن الصباح حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن شقيق عن عمرو بن الحارث ابن أخي زينب عن زينب امرأة عبد الله عن النبي ﷺ نحوه
