While we were with Abdullah bin Umar as he was performing tawaf around the House, a man approached him and said, "Ibn Umar, how did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ describe the private conversation?"He replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The believer will be brought close to his Lord on the Day of Resurrection until He places His shelter over him. Then He will make him acknowledge his sins, asking, "Do you recognize this?" The believer will answer, "My Lord, I do recognize it." When he has admitted whatever Allah wills him to admit, Allah will say, "I concealed them for you in the world, and today I forgive them for you." Then he will be given the record of his good deeds, or his book, in his right hand.As for the disbeliever or the hypocrite, he will be called out before all the witnesses.'"Khalid noted there was something of a break in the chain at the word "witnesses.""These are the ones who lied against their Lord. Indeed, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers." [Hud 11:18]

بينما نحن مع عبد الله بن عمر وهو يطوف بالبيت إذ عرض له رجل فقال يا ابن عمر كيف سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يذكر في النجوى قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول يدنى المؤمن من ربه يوم القيامة حتى يضع عليه كنفه ثم يقرره بذنوبه فيقول هل تعرف فيقول يا رب أعرف حتى إذا بلغ منه ما شاء الله أن يبلغ قال إني سترتها عليك في الدنيا وأنا أغفرها لك اليوم قال ثم يعطى صحيفة حسناته أو كتابه بيمينه قال وأما الكافر أو المنافق فينادى على رءوس الأشهاد قال خالد في الأشهاد شيء من انقطاع {هؤلاء الذين كذبوا على ربهم ألا لعنة الله على الظالمين}
