The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have exempted you from paying zakat on horses and slaves."
حدثنا سهل بن أبي سهل حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن أبي إسحق عن الحارث
عن النبي ﷺ قال تجوزت لكم عن صدقة الخيل والرقيق
[Hasan] Humaydi (Diobandi edition: 54) reported it from Sufyan through this chain, see hadith 95 for its defect. It also has another route containing the aan-aan narration of Abu Ishaq, mentioned previously at hadith 46, and it has other routes as well. The hadith has corroborating narrations from the preceding hadith.
