He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "No zakat is due on less than five wasqs of dates, nor on less than five awqiyahs of silver, nor on less than five camels."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو أسامة حدثني الوليد بن كثير عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي صعصعة عن يحيى بن عمارة وعباد بن تميم
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول لا صدقة فيما دون خمسة أوساق من التمر ولا فيما دون خمس أواق ولا فيما دون خمس من الإبل
[Sahih]. Nasai transmitted it in 5/37, Zakat, Chapter on the zakat of silver, no. 2477, from the hadith of Abu Usama, with this wording. Bukhari transmitted it, no. 1405, and others, and Muslim, no. 979, and others, from the hadith of Yahya bin Umara, from Abu Saeed Khudri, with this wording.
