The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat the predawn meal, for there is blessing in it."
حدثنا أحمد بن عبدة أنبأنا حماد بن زيد عن عبد العزيز بن صهيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ تسحروا فإن في السحور بركة
Its chain of transmission Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Fasting, chapter on the blessing of the pre-dawn meal without it being obligatory, hadith no. 1923, and Muslim narrated it, etc., hadith no. 1095, through various routes from Abdul-Aziz, with the same wording.
