The Prophet ﷺ said, "No believer offers condolences to his brother over a calamity except that Allah, glorified is He, will clothe him in robes of honor on the Day of Resurrection."

[Its chain is daif] Bayhaqi (4/59) narrated it through Qays.Qays was declared daif by Bukhari, Aqeeli, and others, and Dhahabi said in al-Mughni, "His hadith is not sound." Ibn Hibban and others deemed him reliable, but the criticism takes precedence. The hadith has two daif corroborating narrations, from Anas and Abu Barza, and it was also reported as a truncated statement from Talha bin Ubaydullah bin Kurayz, with a similar meaning.
