[Sahih]. Busiri graded it sahih. Ibn Main said about Qasim bin Mukhaymara, "It is not known that he heard from any of the companions" (Tahdhib). It has a sahih corroborating narration in Muslim, hadith no. 970, and elsewhere, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, with similar wording.
