Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

There was a black woman who used to clean the mosque. She died during the night, and when morning came the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed of her death. He said, "Why did you not notify me about her?" He then went out with his companions, stood at her grave, said the takbir over her with the people behind him, prayed for her, and then departed.

كانت سوداء تقم المسجد فتوفيت ليلا فلما أصبح رسول الله ﷺ أخبر بموتها فقال ألا آذنتموني بها فخرج بأصحابه فوقف على قبرها فكبر عليها والناس خلفه ودعا لها ثم انصرف
