The Prophet ﷺ said, "The believer dies with sweat on his brow."
حدثنا بكر بن خلف أبو بشر حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن المثنى بن سعيد عن قتادة
أن النبي ﷺ قال المؤمن يموت بعرق الجبين
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, Funerals, chapter on the report that the believer dies with sweat on the brow, hadith no. 982, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed with this wording, and he said, hasan. Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two sheikhs, 1/361, and Dhahabi agreed with him.Qatada was not the only one to narrate it, Kahmas bin Hasan Qaysami also narrated it, as found in Nasai, 6/4, hadith no. 1830, and its isnad is sahih.
