I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Five prayers Allah has made obligatory upon His servants. Whoever performs them without diminishing anything from them out of disregard for their right, Allah will grant him a covenant on the Day of Resurrection that He will admit him into Paradise. And whoever performs them having diminished something from them out of disregard for their right, he will have no covenant with Allah. If He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him."
Hasan. Reported by Abu Dawud in Witr, chapter on whoever does not perform Witr, no. 1420, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban, with the same chain, and Ibn Hibban, Ibn Abdul-Barr, Nawawi, and Munziri graded it sahih, and it has corroborating narrations.
