I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "As for a man's prayer in his house, it is light, so illuminate your houses with it."Muhammad bin Abu al-Husayn narrated to us, Abdullah bin Jafar narrated to us, saying, Abdullah bin Amr narrated to us from Zayd bin Abu Unaysa from Abu Ishaq from Asim bin Amr from Umayr, the freed slave of Umar bin Khattab, from Umar bin Khattab, from the Prophet ﷺ, something similar.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن طارق عن عاصم بن عمرو قال خرج نفر من أهل العراق إلى عمر فلما قدموا عليه قال لهم ممن أنتم قالوا من أهل العراق قال فبإذن جئتم قالوا نعم قال فسألوه عن صلاة الرجل في بيته
سألت رسول الله ﷺ فقال أما صلاة الرجل في بيته فنور فنوروا بيوتكم حدثنا محمد بن أبي الحسين حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر قال حدثنا عبد الله بن عمرو عن زيد بن أبي أنيسة عن أبي إسحق عن عاصم بن عمرو عن عمير مولى عمر بن الخطاب عن عمر بن الخطاب عن النبي ﷺ نحوه

[Its isnad is daif] Busiri said, "This isnad is daif."Aasim bin Amr was deemed reliable by Ibn Hibban and Abu Hatim, but Bukhari and Aqeeli deemed him daif, and he transmitted from Umar in mursal fashion, as mentioned in Tahdhib and elsewhere.The second chain is also flawed, since Abu Ishaq narrated using "an" without specifying direct hearing, and Umayr is an obscure narrator.
