I compiled the Quran and recited all of it in a single night. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I fear that time will stretch long for you and you will grow weary. Recite it in a month."I said, "Let me benefit from my strength and youth."He said, "Then recite it in ten days."I said, "Let me benefit from my strength and youth."He said, "Then recite it in seven days."I said, "Let me benefit from my strength and youth."But he refused.
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra, no. 8064, and Ahmad, 2/163, 199, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj through this route, and he stated explicitly that he heard it directly in the latter version, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, and the hadith has corroborating narrations, so it is hasan because of them.Yahya bin Hakeem was not deemed reliable by anyone other than Ibn Hibban, as far as I know. So he is obscure.
