The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The mother of Sulayman bin Dawud said to Sulayman, 'My son, do not sleep too much at night, for excessive sleep at night leaves a man impoverished on the Day of Resurrection.'"

Sourcing, its chain is daif. Tabarani transmitted it in Mujam al-Saghir, 1/121, from the hadith of Sunayd, and Ibn Jawzi mentioned it in Al-Mawduat and said it is not sound, and Busiri said, this chain is daif due to the weakness of Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Munkadir and Sunayd bin Dawud.
