Someone said, "Tell me a hadith you heard from your father in which he spoke about the month of Ramadan."He replied, "Yes. My father told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the month of Ramadan and said, 'It is a month in which Allah has prescribed fasting upon you, and I have made standing in prayer during its nights a Sunnah for you. Whoever fasts it and stands in prayer during it out of faith and hoping for reward will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother gave birth to him.'"
