The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform a ritual bath on the day of Eid al-Fitr and the day of Eid al-Adha.
حدثنا جبارة بن المغلس حدثنا حجاج بن تميم عن ميمون بن مهران
كان رسول الله ﷺ يغتسل يوم الفطر ويوم الأضحى
[Its chain of transmission is extremely daif]Bayhaqi (3/278) narrated it from the hadith of Jabarah, through it, via Ibn Adi, and he mentioned some remarks. Busiri said, "This chain is daif due to the weakness of Jabarah, and his teacher Hajjaj bin Tamim is also daif, as stated in Taqrib." The chain was also graded daif by Hafiz in Dirayah.
