The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the Eid prayer at the prayer ground with a spear set up in front of him as a sutrah.
حدثنا هارون بن سعيد الأيلي حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرني سليمان بن بلال عن يحيى بن سعيد
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى العيد بالمصلى مستترا بحربة
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra, no. 1770, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, through this same route, and Busiri said, "This is a sahih chain of transmission, its narrators are trustworthy."
