He performed the Hajj and said, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ delivering a sermon while mounted on his camel."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا وكيع
أنه حج فقال رأيت النبي ﷺ يخطب على بعيره
[Daif] Nasai, 5/253, Mansik al-Hajj, chapter on the sermon at Arafah before the prayer, hadith 3010, 3011, from the hadith of Salama by this route. Abu Dawud narrated it, hadith 1916, with a sahih chain, from Salama bin Nubayt, from a man of the tribe, from his father Nubayt, by this route, but the man is unknown. Part of the hadith has supporting narrations in Abu Dawud, hadith 1917, and elsewhere.
