Umar went out on the day of Eid and sent word to Abu Waqid al-Laythi asking, "What did the Prophet ﷺ used to recite on a day like this?"He replied, "Qaf and Iqtarabat."

خرج عمر يوم عيد فأرسل إلى أبي واقد الليثي بأي شيء كان النبي ﷺ يقرأ في مثل هذا اليوم قال بقاف واقتربت
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on Prayer of the Two Eids, section on what is recited in the prayer of the two eids, hadith no. 891, from the hadith of Damrah bin Saeed, with the same chain.
