Some men whom I trust gave testimony before me, among them Umar bin Khattab, and the most trustworthy of them in my view was Umar, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no prayer after Fajr until the sun rises, and no prayer after Asr until the sun sets."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Prayer Times, Chapter on Prayer After Fajr Until the Sun Rises, no. 581, and Muslim in the Book of Travelers Prayer, Chapter on the Times During Which Prayer is Forbidden, no. 826, from the hadith of Qatada, with the same wording.
