The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the prayer has been called to begin, no prayer is to be offered except the obligatory one."Mahmud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd informed us, from Ayub, from Amr bin Dinar, from Ata bin Yasar, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, the like of it.
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا أزهر بن القاسم ح و حدثنا بكر بن خلف أبو بشر حدثنا روح بن عبادة قالا حدثنا زكريا بن إسحق عن عمرو بن دينار عن عطاء بن يسار
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا أقيمت الصلاة فلا صلاة إلا المكتوبة حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنبأنا حماد بن زيد عن أيوب عن عمرو بن دينار عن عطاء بن يسار عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ بمثله
Reported by Muslim, Prayer of the Traveler, chapter on the disapproval of beginning a supererogatory prayer after the muezzin has begun the iqamah for prayer... etc, hadith no. 710, from the narration of Rawh and others, with this wording.
