Sulayk al-Ghatafani entered the mosque while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon.The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Have you prayed?"He replied, "No."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then pray two rakahs."As for Amr, he did not mention Sulayk by name.
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار سمع جابرا وأبو الزبير سمع
دخل سليك الغطفاني المسجد والنبي ﷺ يخطب فقال أصليت قال لا قال فصل ركعتين وأما عمرو فلم يذكر سليكا
Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Friday Prayer, chapter, "If the imam sees a man come while he is delivering the sermon, he should order him to pray two rakahs," hadith no. 930, 931, 1166, and Muslim in the Book of Friday Prayer, chapter on the greeting prayer while the imam is delivering the sermon, hadith no. 875, from the hadith of Amr bin Dinar with this chain. Muslim also transmitted it from the hadith of Abu Zubayr with this chain.
