Yahya bin Khalaf Abu Salama narrated to us, Bishr bin al-Mufaddal narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet ﷺ used to deliver two sermons with a brief sitting between them. Bishr added, "while standing."
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا عبد الرزاق أنبأنا معمر عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
ح و حدثنا يحيى بن خلف أبو سلمة حدثنا بشر بن المفضل عن عبيد الله عن نافع عن ابن عمر أن النبي ﷺ كان يخطب خطبتين يجلس بينهما جلسة زاد بشر وهو قائم
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Friday Prayer, chapter "Sitting between the two sermons on Friday," hadith no. 928, from the hadith of Bishr, through him, and Bukhari no. 920, and Muslim, in the Book of Friday Prayer, chapter "Mention of the two sermons before the prayer and the sitting they contain," no. 861, from the hadith of Ubaydullah, through him.
