The Prophet ﷺ addressed the people on Friday and saw them wearing garments of striped wool. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What harm would it do any of you, if he can afford it, to keep two garments set aside for his Friday prayer apart from his everyday work clothes?"
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى حدثنا عمرو بن أبي سلمة عن زهير عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ خطب الناس يوم الجمعة فرأى عليهم ثياب النمار فقال رسول الله ﷺ ما على أحدكم إن وجد سعة أن يتخذ ثوبين لجمعته سوى ثوبي مهنته
Sourcing, [hasan] Busiri graded it sahih, and see hadith 919. Ahmad said about the narrations of Amr bin Abu Salama from Zuhayr that they are baseless (Tahdhib). It has corroborating narrations, including the previous hadith.
