I heard the Prophet ﷺ say from the pulpit, "Whoever comes to the Friday prayer should perform a full bath."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا عمر بن عبيد عن أبي إسحق عن نافع
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول على المنبر من أتى الجمعة فليغتسل
[Sahih] Reported by Ahmad: 2/42, from Umar bin Ubayd Tanafisi, through him. Abu Ishaq stated explicitly that he had heard it directly, as recorded by Ahmad: 2/145, and it has very many corroborating narrations.
