Abu Dharr reported,
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah has placed the truth upon Umar's tongue, and he speaks by it."

[Sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud, Kharaj wal-Imarah, chapter on the registration of stipends, no. 2962, from the hadith of Ibn Ishaq with this wording. Hakim and Dhahabi graded it sahih, and it has corroborating narrations in Ahmad and elsewhere.
